Exercise: Walked 1-1/2 miles

Day 196

Breakfast: v-8 juice

Lunch: Soup

Dinner: Salad w/beef & vegetables

Exercise: I’m saving my energy for a walk tomorrow? If you buy that I have a bridge for sale.

{Insert many very bad words here} I don’t know what’s wrong with me. I ate a mexican tv dinner about 1/2hr ago (it’s 1:30 am now). I don’t know why. I do want to do this - I was really excited about starting the South Beach program and now I just keep screwing things up. Maybe I really can’t do it - I don’t know.

Day 195

Breakfast: Scrambled egg, v-8 juice

Lunch/Dinner: Spaghetti/Ravioli from Bancheros

Exercise: Walked 2-1/2 miles, Bike 2 miles

So I did great this morning & came home & rode my bike and then later started feeling upset. Apparently I don’t believe that I should feel good for more than a day or so. As a way to punish myself and because I decided I deserved to get something good to eat I went & bought bad food. Don’t ask me to explain this reasoning - it is impossible. After eating I threw up and now feel even worse than I did.

The good part? Um, um. . . Bancheros didn’t really taste that great (especially after I threw up). I’m far more aware of my feelings about why I ate and response to being upset than I would have been 6 months ago. I definitely won’t eat after 8pm tonight!

Day 194

Breakfast: v-8 juice, scrambled egg

Lunch: Cottage cheese w/vegetables

Dinner: Chicken salad

Exercise: Bike 3 miles

Day 193

Breakfast: V-8 juice

Lunch: Cheese omelet, vitamin water

Dinner: Salad with turkey

Snack: Cheese stick

Exercise: Bike 2.5 miles - my legs ache .  .  .

Day 192

Breakfast: V-8 juice, slice ham

Lunch: Cottage cheese w/vegetables

Dinner: Carne asada, salad, a few little potato slices

Dessert: Small carrot cake

I know - cake & potatoes - it’s my birthday, I’ll be very good tomorrow. I got a thing of little carrot cakes so we could have it tonight & there won’t be any leftovers - pretty smart of me!

Exercise: Stretched for 10 minutes. My back has been hurting the last couple of days - I’m going to ride my bike tomorrow and see how I feel.

Day 191

Breakfast: Scrambled egg, v-8 juice

Lunch: Cottage cheese w/vegetables, vitamin water

Dinner: Salad w/turkey

Exercise: Bike 2 miles

Day 190

Breakfast: Scrambled egg, ham slice, v-8 juice

Lunch: Cottage cheese

Dinner: Soup, salad

I’m not going to count calories while I’m doing this. The book said not to.

Exercise: Walked 1 mile, stretched for 10 minutes.

Day 189

We won’t discuss breakfast (lack of) or lunch (too much). HOWEVER, I had soup and salad for dinner. Tomorrow I’m going to start the South Beach diet plan. I’m also going to - oh dear I hate to put it in writing - get up and walk. After all, tomorrow is another day.

Day 188
